Rough night. The thunderstorm rolled in around 01:30/1:30AM. Toby now has
the freedom to come onto the bed. He was SO unsettled. He was panting and
shivering. Checking on Essie, she sought refuge in her hiding place in the hall
closet. Now I worry about Socks.
*The rain a thunder continue as I get up to prepare for work.
*As I sat her at the computer, the lights went out for about a minute.
*Socks was a good boy to come when I called as I went out for meditations and Runes.
Plans: work 10hrs

Early evening family front yard time. Jamie is right. Essie needs to play
more. I could not find her old stick toy, so I created one. I don’t think
Essie was impressed, but Socks was. Once in the house Essie perked-up a bit and
was slightly more playful. I’m going to get her to once again play if it kills
me…or her. Just kidding. Nothing or no one will ever harm her if I have any
say-so about it.
*Hel, I need more activity, too. EVERYBODY needs more activity. The only
thing is, summertime is my hibernation time. It’s going to take a REAL effort
to break out of hibernation.
I have thought many times about Rosetta Stone for learning the German language. Then, I remembered I have a whole book and cassettes from Neue Horizonte in college. I’m going to utilize that, first. Since I have no way to understand HOW Plautdietsch sounds, I will put that interest on hold, concentrating on Hochdeutsch.
