Sunrise, 1-mile walk for Toby. Toby did a good thing this morning off the
leash. He flushed out a kitty I thought might’ve been buried when they
demolished the house down the block. WHEW! He’s safe!

*it’s the first time I’ve ever used turkey breakfast sausage…I’m impressed.
*okay, there’s nothing that can be done about turkey bacon. It just plain
sucks, but I’m doing everything I can to eat a more healthy diet.
Trip to Mt Hope for fireworks. I was a bit early (9:45) so I had to wait
(10:00), but it was a wait worth waiting for! I spent $95 and they kept giving
me stuff. They gave a bit extra for the amount I spent, then more when they
found out I’m a veteran.

All animals are safe inside shelter for the evening.
It was a WONDERFUL, joint effort at fireworks, enjoying the evening with my
WONDERFUL niece’s family. Ya just don’t get any better then them!
Coming home, there was quite a bit of firework activity in and around the neighborhood. Toby and Essie came around the corner from the
hall closet, so they must’ve huddle together for security. I don’t know how
long I stayed up with them while the fireworks died down. I laid on the floor
and we huddled together as Essie was so quick to show her gratitude You should
have seen her. She was all rubbing and snuggly, even up against Toby.
Yup, Mannaz and Kun…all day!
