Family outside time. Essie spent quite a bit of time in Socks' house; front and back yards. Socks said CYA. Both Stubby and Long-tail were in need of affectionate reassurance.

PetSmart; Science Diet coupons and excellent customer service; I'm so glad I found out they price-matched. Now I don't have much for which to go to Wal-Mart; still a few things, but not much.
Dillons; I was offered a gift card for them putting bad fruit in a fruit basket over Yule. Our agreement was a $25 gift card, but when I got there, it turned into a $50 gift card...WOW! I have my eye on a VERY NICE winter wreath marked down to $20.
McDs for a very late lunch; excellent customer service.
*customer service is such an imbalanced art; good/bad/indifferent. It really is an art. Today it was abundantly good. Teiwaz/Hagal right here!

I'm glad I checked on Socks. My messing with his space heater earlier, for some reason caused it to shut down. It was only 43F in there. Before I left, as he and I huggled on his couch, I waited to make sure his space heater was once again working. I check them most every time I go in there while it's so bitter cold overnight. I also make sure the drapes are covering the windows; that is, all but the drapes over the sliding glass door. He needs SOME kind of view of the outside while he's inside.
