It’s amazing how time on the retractable cures an attitude. I took Toby to Meeka Park. He couldn’t get into much trouble there.

*Essie in the back yard. I kicked a ball in effort to get Toby’s attention; rather, Essie ended up chasing it. Every time I kicked she was off and running, but stopped when it stopped. That’s okay with me. It’s so nice to see her running like lightening!
It’s a beautifully sunny, cool day. It would be a mean trick to bring in snow after a day like this.

Now THAT was funny! I let Essie out the back door. She started heading out like she was going somewhere. Soon, she encountered the snow and started heading right back towards the door, kind of like she was saying, “FUCK THIS SHIT, DAD!”.

Who cannot love winter phenomenon? MY absolute fav is freezing fog. An ice-covered landscape against a usually dark and cloud sky? PERFEKT! However, snow does a similar thing. Snow absolutely changes the landscape to a winter wonderland! WOW!
