My computer didn’t fire-up this morning as readily as it normally does. I gave it a hard shut-down by unplugging the computer from the wall. I then ran several preventive maintenance programs to insure there was nothing like a “New Years Bug” that exploded overnight.

Toby misbehaved early on his walk. He KNOWS better than to cross an intersection without me. I put him on the retractable for a while, then gave him another chance. Again, he disobeyed. Two commands he knows and responds to well; that being, “wait” and “go“. When he failed to wait, I put him back on the retractable for the remainder of the walk.
OMGs…excellent time at my niece’s for NEW YEARS CHOP SUEY!
Last week, at the store, I picked up some Southern Comfort vanilla spice eggnog. Today, per instructions, I added one cup of Southern Comfort. Remind me, why don’t people like eggnog? I thought this stuff was pretty damned good.
Essie Yule present from PetSmart has been a hit! It’s a furry, colorful, bell-ringing “thing” on the end of a pole attached to a string. PLUS, there are 5 other colorful “things” that can be interchanged. Yesterday, I noticed her trying to get at them as they dangled over the edge of her cat-tower, which gave me an idea. I kept her obvious favorite on the pole, and attached 5 of the others via a staple gun to the edge of her cat tower. She’s playing so well I want to continue her to play.

Another gift I bought for either Essie or Socks was a little electronic “bug”. Turn on that thing and it just takes off and vibrates forward. It bumps into things and keeps on going. OMGs, I had more fun with it than Socks or Essie. Today, I placed it in a large oval plate just to watch it go round-and-round.
EVERY furry baby in need of attention today.
