Elder Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Elder Runes in your way
Advise the mortal man today
<>
Picture
Elder Rune: Raido: Wheel, horse transportation, riding, issues concerning: ordered/rhythmic movement, a journey, the journey of life, travel, seek wise counsel, spiritual quest, the law of the cosmic right, freedom and moral responsibility of the Self, ordered change, planning, ethical conduct, personal discipline, to oversee one’s own journey in life, the proper course of faring, progress, perspective.
Conversely:
Spinning one’s wheels, lack of movement, unwise counsel, a breakdown in (divine) order, restlessness, make no travel plans, upsetting the cart, wrong action and disorder, the opposite of that which is right, off the proper course, slow motion, vehicular failure, without a sense of purpose, personal irresponsibility, a failed or disappointing journey, void of progress or proper perspective.

Armanen Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Armanen Runes in your way
Advise the Spirit man today

Armanen Rune: Rit:
Havamal 149.
That I know as the fifth, should an enemy’s
Arrow come flying into the throng;
As bright as it might clash, I stem its power
Once I firmly fix my eye on it.

The exalted, the strength of Will, introspective awareness, that which is passing, council, right, wheel, movement, rhythm, law, correctness, judgment, victory over the lower ego, holding, right order, the judge, advice, salvation, money, original law, that which flows away, religious feeling, ritual action/primal laws, orderliness in the world, the ritual, primal law/Urlag, things that are done correctly, spiritual feeling, ritual action, journey, Divine law, All justice, Rune of the cosmic rhythm of the worlds, wheels, personal empowerment.
“I am my rod (right), this rod (right) is indestructible, therefore, I am myself indestructible, because I am my rod (right)” (List, 53).
<>
Interpretation: movement all the way around (Raido, Rit).  Probably significant for Long-tail.
<>
Outcome: a banana
<>
Sunny, chili, stout south wind, but not as stout as yesterday.
<>
Toby and I out for a well-behaved 30min walk.
<>
One egg with two slices of deli-ham on a whole-wheat tortilla.
<>
I walked over to the neighbor’s.  She was ready to receive Long-tail.  I walked home, crying all the way, cuddled Long-tail under my coat, apologizing to him and kissing on him all the way, crying all the way back to the neighbor’s, MEGA tears all the way home.  I think she’s going to go ahead with putting him down.
*OMGs the tears!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
<>
 It’s a sad day.
<>
One slice of pizza and a garden salad.
<>
Standing, 3 sets of 12, 2/15lbs
  • Forearm curls
  • Bicep curls
  • Overhead triceps extension
  • Shoulder press
  • Standing shoulder row
Plank, 3 sets @ 30secs each
<>
It was a pretty good 8-hour shift.  My thoughts were elsewhere.
<>
What if when Long-tail is put-down in a veterinary clinic and no one stayed with him.  I would be so pissed!
<>
It has surprised me the amount of tears I’ve shed over Long-tail.  Hel, Stubby was more my kitty than Long-tail.  Stubby was constant.  My relationship with Long-tail was always casual.  Nonetheless, my tears are real.  I cannot deny he meant something to me.
<>
PTA shower, bed, nighty-night.

God/dess Meditation: Nirdu, brother-husband to Nirda, parents of the Wanâ; Ing-Frô and the Frouwa, beloved god of harbors and seas close to land; help us to remember the cargoes of wealth that float to our doors daily from the wonderful Universe in which we live. Though our misfortunes may rise and fall like the tides, the chance of prosperity, like the eternal sea brimming with fish, is still there. Like the salt-sea spray, awaken us to the possibilities that surround us, so that our nets may be cast wide and return full of life’s gifts. WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, NIRDU, as we honor the Nirdu that resides in us all!
