I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me.  I’m grateful for the strong German heritage you’ve provided. I look forward with eager anticipation to the great family reunion on the other side.  I offer you my undying love, honor, respect, and gratitude.

Elder Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Elder Runes in your way
Advise the mortal man today

Elder Rune: Eihwaz: Irminsul, the Cosmic pillar, inner strength, stress and difficulties, overcoming obstacles, need to have backbone to get through, endurance, “Shit happens, get over it! “, temporary cosmic consciousness, stability over external circumstances, resilience, the Shamanic link of experiences within the All.  “That which does not kill us makes us stronger” (Friedrich Nietzsche).

Advise the Spirit man today

A fourteenth I sing to the assembled Folk

When naming the divine names;
The Aesir and Alves and their various kinds
No one can spell out without learning.

Determination, learned knowledge, singing before the All, presentation, Urlag; life fate and destiny, life as law, life following the law, experience, test, temptations by life-circumstances, water, sea, good management, test of life, school of the lives, relations, defeat and the laws of nature, life and primal law, psychic & spiritual awareness, cosmic flow, seeds of thought, the etheric part of the body, initiation that experiences life on earth as a continuous process of initiation, The Cosmic Ocean.
“First learn to steer, then dare the sea-journey” (List, 60).

Interpretation: Inner strength (Eihwaz) brings determination (Laf).

1st check on all fur-kids.
<>
Outcome: 6 ½ hrs. of sleep with one wake-up.
<>
Good morning conversation with wifey.
<>
Toby and I out for a late morning, well behaved, 30min walk.
*sunny, mild, south breeze.
<>
Moved Lily into the house.  That alone was a bit of a chore moving her cage.  She will have to stay in her cage whenever she can’t be monitored.  I don’t think I’m too worried about HER, I worry about Essie and Toby’s reaction TO her.
<>
COMPLETELY cleaned out Socks’ house.  Fresh food, fresh water, fresh litter; he can’t ask for anything better.  While I was cleaning out his hose, he hung around seemingly curious.  Once done, he was still hanging around, so I scooped him up to take him into his house.  OMGs you would think I was killing him.  I had to literally fight him to keep him inside.  He needed to stay inside to realize Lily was no longer there.
<>
Two well dressed, turkey bologna wraps with potato coins.
<>
…aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand of course Socks wants out from his house…FINE…but I’ve taken down your porch shelter as well as your feeding bowls.  Whatever you need now is in your house.  When you get cold enough, when you get hungry enough, you’ll reconsider your house.
<>
It was another boring night at work.  If I wasn’t getting paid well, it would be a problem.
*watched Trump predictably beg for his Wall money.  The Dem response was equally predictable,
<>
Last check on all fur-kids.
<>
Lilly is quite the huggler.
Toby is oblivious.
Essie is pissed.
Socks still won’t go into his house.
<>
2am, nighty night.  Wifey must be sick in her office tonight.

God/dess Meditation: (alternate Dienstag) Ostara, trustworthy goddess; wife to Brego (who is the adherent god of scalds), keeper of the golden apples of youth and eternal life, keep us young inside. When we are starving for laughter, hungry for the lightness that comes with having few years on our shoulders, slip us one of those gleaming fruits that we may see the world through youthful eyes. Let springtime be in our steps, love in our hearts and a song on our lips. Change us to the core! Fill us with optimism and dreams for the future. WE GIVE YOU MOST A HEART-FELT HEIL, OSTARA, as we honor the Ostara that resides in us all!
