6am Toby alerts to a front porch concern.  Socks was upset because another cat had violated his Princedom.  Socks welcomed Toby’s aid in chasing it off.

Breakfast sandwich + a banana.

I went into Lilly’s first Veterinary visit with some SERIOUS trepidation, but those fears were relieved.  She tested negative for feline leukemia and worms.  She DOES, however, have a sizeable infection causing drainage into her mouth which was causing her odor.  She’s on antibiotics and will be seen again in a week.  Once she’s showing signs of improvement, she’ll get her vaccinations and this formerly feral kitty https://www.greatplainsspca.org/programs-services/feral-cats/ will have a permanent home! 
Veterinarian guesstimates Lily to be 7-8 yrs. Old.

I really don’t understand how Lily could be considered “feral” as there is nothing wild https://www.google.com/search?q=feral&rlz=1C1GCEA_enUS782US782&oq=feral&aqs=chrome.0.69i59j69i60j0l4.3271j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 about her.  I’m thinking she was abandoned and homeless; without trust, but hardly wild.

Well, since Lily is staying, a trip to Wal-Mart Neighborhood market for food and liter was in order.

Everything went fine at work, at least until the Super brought a hot roll-form order @ 11:30pm.  Neither I nor my colleague had NO IDEA how to deal with this part that had varying degrees of tapering.
