Toby did pretty well in the house for 9 hrs with only a couple of pee spots, no poop spots. He did, however, find some chocolate I had on a lampstand. He appears none the worse for wear.

I went onto the porch to fidget with the porch light, and OMGs there was Long-tail just-a-crying! I quickly got him some food on a plate, but TWICE he pushed his way past me, through the front door and into the house. I think he was just damned cold with no place to go! Long-tail simply made himself right at home. He even crawled up into my lap on the couch. Well hel, it seemed we have an overnight guest. I made a trip out to the garden shed to bring in a cage I’ve had since Meeka. With food, water, litter-box, place mats down to cover the floor, and a bit of a perch-spot, that’s about the best I could do for right now. He’s safe. Everyone is safe.
