*came across a fellow Coastie at the tail-end of Toby’s walk. I invited him to join out Coast Guard group for the Veterans Day parade. He gave me his info, I passed it along to the head-hauncho.

I was pretty proud of myself at work tonight. I ran a few orders of parts that I have never before seen. I just applied the knowledge I had at my disposal, and things went just fine. My very last order in particular was interesting. It was a two-stage hydro-block. I’ve ran two-stage trim jigs in my previous shops, again, I just applied the knowledge I already possessed onto an unfamiliar hydro-block and WAH-LAH!

Last check on all fur-kids. Socks out. Socks back inside. Smart Socks. All fur kids are under warm shelter on this bitterly cold night.
