(Hartmânôd = Harsh Month)

Mother, I miss you so much.  You played the rolls of Mother and Father after Father passed.  I know as I kid I seemed ungrateful in so many ways.  I hope you realize now that I love you.  I wait with breathless anticipation that great family reunion on the other side.
<>
Plans: my love my fiancée, meet with newly discovered Cousin

I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me.  I’m grateful for the strong German heritage you’ve provided. I look forward with eager anticipation to the great family reunion on the other side.  I offer you my undying love, honor, respect, and gratitude.
*no doubt the ones who brought the family over from Europe.

Elder Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Elder Runes in your way
Advise the mortal man today

Elder Rune: Pertho: Dice cup, issues concerning: the lucky roll of the dice, questions of luck, the consideration of Wurt/Urlag (the ordeal of Humankind), the Wurtâ; Urda (that which was), Werdanda (that which is becoming) and Sculd (that which is owed), the realization of hidden potential, interwoven yet independent Wurt, good fellowship and happiness, secrets revealed, the collective consciousness, the Well of Knowledge for true growth.
Conversely:
The presence of negative Wurt, an unlucky roll of the dice, bad luck, secrets remaining secret, delusions, fantasies, megalomania, outside the collective/individual consciousness, out of touch with reality, negative forces set in motion, that which is unknowable, the need to deal with uncertainty, unpleasant contractions of birth pains, secrets remaining secret, take no chances.

God/dess Meditation: Saga, glorious goddess of history, we greatly honor you as part and parcel of our ever-expanding past.  As we share in Minnatranc, whisper to our hearts of the stories about our gods, our ancestors, our heroes and their glories.  Be the resource for our memories should we ever forget from whence we come.  Gently remind us that we all have a rich history from which to pull.  For it is as we remember and respect the past can we deal with our present, knowing that we will someday have to deal with our spiritual debt.  We honor you, Saga, as a repository for the basis of all that we are, all that we are coming to be, and all that our offspring will inherit from us.  WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, SAGA, as we honor the Saga that resides in us all.
