*OH MAN! I’m glad I go out to Socks’ house daily. After last night’s power \outage, I didn’t even THINK about Socks’ heat sources needing reset. Pretty chilly in there this morning, 18degF. Heat sources reset.

Outcome: Last night, quite a sinus attack, asleep in the recliner to elevate head, slept several hours, then back to bed. MAYBE 7hrs or so.

A banana + a 1-egg open-faced breakfast sandwich atop whole wheat toast and cheese + hot sauce.

Checked on wifey. She was pretty short with me because she said she didn’t get to sleep until 7am because of kitty issues.

Call into Air Capital Veterinary to clarify the need for Toby’s appointment Monday.

10:40am check on Socks’ house; 26degF, so there is already improvement.

Put Toby in his Suitical Recover Sleeve https://www.suitical.com/products/recovery-sleeve-dog/ to cover his wound. He doesn’t seem to mind it too much.

Today was the first time Toby successfully endured a full 30min walk. I was SO proud of him!

38degF in Socks’ house…as long as it’s above freezing, I don’t worry about him much. In this cold weather, this is the best it has EVER been in there. My/our effort to insulate the roof and gable seems to have paid-off.
