Elder Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Elder Runes in your way
Advise the mortal man today
<>
Picture
Elder Rune: Wunjo: Joy, pasture, happiness attained with the fulfillment of a wish, the strong Clanic relationship, social contacts, family ties, Clanic solidarity, fellowship, happiness, optimism, realization of true will, social and domestic harmony, good cheer, new social relationships, Fridu attained within a secure setting, a bright attitude of Wotan exposed.
Conversely:
Sadness, disruption/breakdown in the Clanic relationship, questionable social contacts, loser, miserable, loneliness, shunning, weakened family/Clanic ties, social and domestic disharmony, the inability to attain a wish, strife, alienation, pessimism, failed social relationships, Fridu is challenged, the shadow/dark side of Wotan is exposed.

Armanen Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Armanen Runes in your way
Advise the Spirit man today

Armanen Rune: Gibor:
Havamal 163.
An eighteenth I learned, yet I would never
Let a woman or maid know it,
For everyone knows what’s best for himself-
This leads me to the conclusion of the songs-
The one it shall be then, that lies in my arms
As betrothed wife and as sister.

The scald, awakening, passion, mystery, comprehension of the diving from below upward; from humanity outward, secrecy, gift/giver, gift of life, that which is best for the individual, fulfillment, sacred marriage, being ONE with the sister soul, protection against evil forces, being/seeing the Divine, the cosmic consciousness and the divine principle, two forces having a singular origin, the spiritual ego, death-life cycle, protection against evil forces, union of the gods and the World, the uninterrupted chain in the cycle of eternal returns, the Creator and the Created, the deepest mysteries of the Universe, the end.
“Man, be one with God” (List, 67).
<>
Interpretation: Joy/sadness (Wunjo) leads to an awakening (Gibor).
<>
Outcome: A good 8hrs of sleep with only one bladder call.
<>
A bit of rain continues.

Since Long-tail has been here, this is the first time he hasn’t been hungry.  Either he is finally full, or his leukemia is getting worse.  I’m hoping for the former.

A banana with a 2-egg breakfast sandwich.

Lazy morning floating on the internet.

30min on treadmill

Separated recyclables

Cleaned house that should’ve been done over the weekend.

Long-tail wants and tries to jump up on counters, which I don’t mind.  He’s tried jumping up via trash can and failed.  I even put out a step stool, with which he has problems navigating.  There’s nothing I can do for him with the trash can, but there IS something I can do with the step stool.  I cut up an old pair of jeans, wrapped them around the steps, and duct-taped it down to the steps so he has a way to grab onto it.  At first, he was a bit skeptical because of all his failed attempts with both the trash can and the step stool, yet, once he realized what has been done for him, he was all over it.  He can now easily, and on his own volition, access his feeding station.  It is imperative I keep Essie and Long-tail’s feeding stations separate.

Pretty good 8hr shift @ work.  It started off with me, for some reason, in a REALLY bad mood, but by the dinner break, I was pretty much over it.  Nothing on the shaper table.  I worked all night in layout and drill.
*it seemed the feeling I thought I hurt Friday weren’t hurt at all.
*JsFnChst!!  My shop-mate came into work sick.  I’M DOOMED!  I’M DOOMED!
*a lot of black absent today for MLK Day.  I doubt they really observe it.  They just use it as a legitimate way to take the day off from work; however, without pay.
<>
Long-tail’s a fighter, but I know this leukemia thing will take him soon.
<>
A freshening, then bed…nighty-night.

God/dess Meditation: Mano, god of the moon:
Greetings to you, Mano, glorious male aspect of the moon; silver messenger on high.  You’re the measurer and teller of time.  You’re the counterpart to Sunna, the feminine aspect of the sun.  As you fly silently on your way reflect into our souls the glory of the High Ones that we might aspire to the realms of the gods. Bathe our world in soft brightness, and whisper to our souls of joyous realms beyond our knowing. Mano let us see the goodness within us and without us, all the nights and days of our lives.  WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, MANO, as we honor the Mano that resides in us all!
