I wasn’t sick enough to stay home.  I didn’t want to burn sick leave unnecessarily.  There was barely enough to stay busy on the table shaper.

Yup, Toby is inside as my brother promised, but noticed I come home to a propped open sliding glass door to Socks’ house.  I had to ascertain why my brother left it open like that, and it didn’t take long.  Socks will have nothing to do with the fireplace-type space heater I got for him.  He was absolutely freaked-out over the orange glow.  He was insanely conflicted.  He didn’t want to be out in the cold, and he would not go into his house.  I had to turn it off, and pull the space heater from my bedroom into his house.  Once Socks realized what I had done, he was ready to stay inside.  Fucking frustrating.
