Outcome: Essie has taken to coming up on the computer desk while I’m at it and make herself comfortable under the lamp to demand some loving. She’s a VERY good kitty.
It’s brisk, with a stout north wind; a bit much for a walk with Toby. I opted to cut it short at ½ a mile. No complaints from Toby, or me, for that matter.
Socks is street smart. I never worry about that. Now, whey in the world would be knowingly upending his food and water overnight? His food and water are on a rug. Today I discovered the rug turned over along with his food and water. Boredom? Probably so; nonetheless, he was ready to go a-catting first thing this morning. His food, water and rug have been replaced.
My lunch/movie date isn’t well this morning. Rain check delivered*

Pulled in kitty kibble from shed. This exhausts all dry pet food in reserve. Time to rebuild.
