I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me.  I’m grateful for the strong German heritage you've provided. I offer you my undying love, honor, respect, and gratitude.

Elder Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Elder Runes in your way
Advise the mortal man today

Elder Rune: Dagaz: Light of day, total enlightenment, awakening, the AH-HA moment, benefit from new information, achieving balance, harmony, hyper-consciousness, the light of dawn, awakening, positive focus on life, light at the end of the tunnel, increase, growth, an ending prior to a beginning, transformation, possibly related to the 3rd eye; the mystical place where the two lobes of the brain join.

Armanen Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Armanen Runes in your way
Advise the Spirit man today

A sixth one is mine, if a man wounds me
With the root of a trunk still with juice;
Then I am unscathed, the man himself is consumed
By the evil with which he threatened me.

I love it when Socks comes when he’s called.

A banana and a typical breakfast sandwich

Toby and I out for a well-behaved walk
*sunny, almost worm, too warm for February, no breeze
*unless there’s a Wx miracle, I think winter has bypassed us.

Essie is certainly spending more time outside with this warmer weather.

Returned the call from a City official about the crosswalk on MacArthur to J-Lot @ work.  He was certainly more sympathetic than the County Commissioner was, but it’s out of his jurisdiction since the area in question is considered to be outside the City of Wichita.
Call into my optometrist to preorder round frames for next month.

Well, well, well, I just may have a dinner date for the weekend…

Fish from frozen, leftover diced potatoes, 3-bean salad

Both pride and disappointment @ work.
*Pride in the fact I successfully fathomed what a planner was trying to communicate when the planning was compared to the C.T. (contour template).  Sometimes planners speak a foreign language compared to what production workers speak.
**Dagaz/Ka
*Disappointment when an order came back to me due to a flange being too short.  I defended myself by showing my supervisor how the set-up card was horribly unclear.  When I measured the flange by the way I interpreted the set-up card, from the backside of the leg out, the flange measures correctly.  However, I would’ve never read the set-up card measuring from the center out, as the set-up card was trying to communicate.  Whether or not my supervisor was sympathetic was unclear.  What WAS clear the entire order was scrapped. I made a note on the set-up card to make the measurement clearer so there’s no more confusion.   I shall make it right tomorrow.
**Dagaz/Ka

Unexpectedly chilly out from work; 32F/0C with a stout north breeze, and no coat.

God/dess Meditation: Ostara, trustworthy goddess; husband to Brego; the adherent god of scalds, keeper of the golden apples of youth and eternal life, keep us young inside. When we are starving for laughter, hungry for the lightness that comes with having few years on our shoulders, slip us one of those gleaming fruits that we may see the world through youthful eyes. Let springtime be in our steps, love in our hearts and a song on our lips. Change us to the core! Fill us with optimism and dreams for the future. WE GIVE YOU MOST A HEART-FELT HEIL, OSTARA, as we honor the Ostara that resides in us all!
