My doctor’s visit @ the VA went quite well.  My doctor has no concerns. 

• All numbers look good, save the good cholesterol; not budging. 
• All prescriptions were renewed. 
• I’m being scheduled for another colonoscopy. 
• I’ll be fitted for a hernia girdle/belt. 
• I also received a pneumonia shot.

*I am SO IN LOVE with my doctor.  She’s an extremely cute Hindu woman.  It’s going to be a sad day when she either goes on to a different position within the VA, or goes back to her country.

Toby and I out for an extremely well-behaved 30min walk.  A couple who had recently moved here from Colorado stopped me to inquired about the “noise”.  I explained to them it was a weekly test of the tornado siren system.  I further explained to them, if they heard this “noise” outside of Monday @ noon, head for cover.  “Good to know” he said.

I find it amazing that no one, NO ONE has EVER inquired about Long-Tail; not that BITCH from across the street who couldn’t seem to care for him, nor the bitch’s buddy next door who only pseudo-cared for him.  Was I the only one who REALLY cared for him?  Long-tail was such a handsome kitty.  Sad…

Yeah, I know the Vernal Equinox isn’t happening for more than a month or so, but it really seems that Spring is already here in Wichita.  Over the last few weeks:

• I have seen a robin.
• I have seen gnats and fuck-bugs
• I have heard a blue-jay.
• Canadian geese are back
• The chorus of birds is ostentatious. 
• The warmth has, for the most part, been relentless.

The absence of winter has really saddened me.  If I wasn’t so vested here in Wichita, I’d be moving North.
