Just this morning I figured out how to feed the squirrels without the birds coming around to suck up all their food; put food out the night before. The birds see me put out food during the day and flock to it. If I already have it out, and the birds don’t see me go to the feeding spot, they’ll not be attracted to it. At least that’s what’s working this morning.

Toby and I headed out for a well behaved, late afternoon, walking experiment. We took home/Munnell/Dayton/Seneca, then Seneca/McCormick, then McCormick/St. Clair/ Munnell/home. This took 50min. So, IF I want to walk for an hour, I would have to add a couple of blocks north.
