I've thought a lot today about my relationship with Heathenry. It might be morphing a bit. For the longest time I've taken a hard-line about HOW it's supposed to be expressed. Now, rethinking that a bit, I'm more along the lines of a Spiritual expression rather than a Religious expression. Besides, we KNOW that much of the information has been penned and no doubt fabricated by christians. We also know that christians did their best to wipe out all they could of our belief system. Is it that far out of the realms of possibility to allow the gods and ancestors reveal themselves to us today. Oh sure, if things are presented far outside the field of accepted Heathen practice there will be problems, but as long as there is an expression related to anything from the Northern European Tradition, it has to be considered. Sure, it must be noted as UPG (Unverified Personal Gnosis). Just noting my own expanded thought process.

I guess you might call it some form of isometric exercise, where I use my body against itself, without weights. I don't think this is doing any harm to my hernia, but it does make for a conversation with my doctor next week.
