A ninth one I sing, when dangers at sea forces me
To protect my ship from the stormy waves;
The storm I calm down, no matter how billowing the sea,
And I cradle the waves to sleep.

Outcome: ya know, while I would much rather have a good, solid winter, the lack of it certainly is better on the fur-kids.

Good AM work; workload @ ¾
Good @ work lunch; Heathen Psyche by Erik Goodwyn
Good PM work; workload @ ½
*I received 245 titanium parts to work. I had to set up outside the shop area due to their volatility. Here's the stupidity of their time studies: 12min per part that took < 1min to finish. LOL...FORTY NINE HOURS to finish the project and I was almost done, all but 45 parts, within two.

Quick rush to the post office, took Toby with me, to mail a bill, but the traffic not only SUCKED, there was a major accident before the intersection at which I needed to turn right. Got to the post office only to find it closed. The lady picking up the mail from outside agreed to take my envelope, along with a dollar, put a stamp on it and promised my carrier would provide change. Was it REALLY worth all that hassle to avoid a late charge? I dunno...
*I never again want to let my stamps run dry.

Socks was ready to go inside. Essie wasn't sure she wanted to go outside. Toby was just glad to have attention.
<>
Yummy dinner; 1/2lb ground turkey patty with onions, sweet buttered corn, potatoes with onions and jalapenos (perhaps a WEE bit too heavy on jalapenos...WHEW).
<>
Looks like nobody got any outside time today.
