Remind us of your bravery and your sacrifice. Give us the courage and strength we need to fetter our own Fenris. At work for lunch; I drafted a “thank you” letter for my RTAA rep
*I made my first step to involvement with my employer by becoming an official “safety rep” and attended my first meeting.
*since the workload is remaining high, I am asking about more overtime to the tune of a 53hr work-week. I’ll know the answer by Thursday.
Well shit, my “Good Yule” decoration continues to deteriorate. At first I thought someone was making their way onto my porch, but I got it now.
Turkey hotdogs, mixed veggies and macaroni casserole…with a secret sauce*…YUM!
My electric Yuletide window candles arrived today.
Rewrote the letter to my TAA rep in Word. Here is what I wrote:

“As I come to the end of my involvement with the TAA program, I would be remiss not to send my most heart-felt “thank you” for all you’ve done. Generally, government programs get a bad-rap, but this has been the most phenomenal government program I could have ever envisioned. The TAA program has:
paid for schooling at the Wichita Area Technical College
paid for books and supplies
paid unemployment when unemployment expired
continued to financially aid me as I reentered the workforce.
Without you, none of this would have been possible. Thank you so much.
Please extend this “thank you” to G_, as well.
