10th Day of Yule – Remembering the Noble Virtue of Self-Reliance
“Man [or woman] is his [or her] own star” (Ralph Waldo Emerson, parentheticals added).
The Noble Virtue of self-reliance requires that we depend on the efforts of your own handiwork.  Make sure you are the total sum of your own achieved goals.  Do not create co-dependent relationships in any way. Do not let your happiness or your success be determined by anyone else. Be responsible for yourself. Rely on your own efforts to secure your needs; for it is only as we build upon success after success will we be truly satisfied (Vaygar Ingvald Elmersson).

I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me.  I’m grateful for the strong German heritage you’ve provided. I look forward with eager anticipation to the great family reunion on the other side.  I offer you my undying love, honor, respect, and gratitude.

God/dess Meditation: Frija:
Frija, Great Alle-Mutter; caregiver of Family, Hearth and Home, wife to Alle-Vater Wodan.  Teach us to be patient but not passive; wise but not haughty in our wisdom; far seeing yet not blind to that which is before us. May we nurture life, increase life, and live our own lives more fully. Through you we give honor to our human mothers. Through you we see all the beauty that surrounds us as well. WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, FRIJA, as we honor the Frija that resides in us all!  HEIL ALLE MUTTER HEIL!
