I think Socks took refuge in a straw-bale cubbyhole and came out soon enough. Socks quickly made his way to his house. Stubby and Long-tail will get all the food they can handle.

@ work, I helped a colleague across the parking lot who was afraid of falling on the ice. She balanced on my arm and walked carefully.
Good AM work; workload full; AND hot chocolate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*scuttlebutt ran rampant. One person said no machinists were supposed to be there. A second person said certain machinists were asked not to come in this week due to too many ahead of schedules. A third person said machinists were optional. So, who really knows?
Good @ home for lunch; EXTREMELY cautious on the way home; Stubby found his cubbyhole, Toby found an outside place to pee, Essie found her way to the treat able...LOL.
Good PM work; workload adequate.

Came home to Toby wanting out front badly. Why? Because he knew he was bad for making his way thru the baby gate into the kitchen trash. Of course, I HAD to voice my displeasure, but I figured it was my fault for not latching the gate well enough. After all, Toby's nickname is Mr. Opportunist.
