I thought Socks scooted outside last night. I had the signal (closed drapes) telling me he was outside. When I went in to check, there he was cuddled around his space heater. We huggled! I changed the signal (open drapes) telling me he's inside.

I saw Long-tail huddled in a cubbyhole within the straw-bale fortress. I have to believe Stubby is huddled in the other one.

Experimenting with some throw-together stuff for stew. Hel, I figure I can put anything in my small slow-cooker, throw in some chicken stock and WAH-LAH in 5 hours. We shall see @ 16:30.

Essie laid down across my hand at the computer. Every time I tried to move, she moved her paw tighter across my hand, kind of like saying, “Please, daddy, don't go”. Essie really does love me and expresses it quite well.
