Essie and Toby handled the extra people quite well. Socks was another story. After they left it took a sincere effort to calm him down. After a bit of hide-n-seek, I had to bodily pick him up and carry him into his house. Once I left him in there and gave him a few minutes; checking on him again, he was quite settled into his house.

It has been a great day, AND a great several days off from work. One more day off tomorrow, then it's back to the grind...unfortunately.

I have NO idea what time we all, the fur-kids and I, settled-in for the night. I know it was after midnight; maybe 01:30. It's still raining and it's definitely getting colder. The wind is beginning to howl. Winter is finally here in Oz.
