I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me.  I’m grateful for the strong German heritage you've provided. I offer you my undying love, honor, respect, and gratitude.
* no doubt the ones who brought the family over from Europe.

Elder Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Elder Runes in your way
Advise the mortal man today

Armanen Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Armanen Runes in your way
Advise the Spirit man today

 Armanen Rune: Hagal:
Havamal 151.
A seventh I learned, if the hall is burning

With fire around bench and comrades;
However bright it burns, I will banish the blaze,
As soon I sing the magic chant.

To enclose/destroy, introspection, awareness, eternal change, the Mother of all Runes, the cohesion of the world, die (pronounced ‘dee’, German for ‘the’) Alle Mutter, Frija, that which cares and maintains, protects, and preserves; that which is motherly; wisdom, harmony, salvation, blessing, protects from hail and fire, eternal change, caring and maintaining principle in the Universe, Higher Self, the perfect human being, Divine within, the Rune of humanity, married to the World, Rune of enclosure but contains a potential for growth, builder/architect of the worlds, the macrocosm of the world itself.
“Harbor the All in yourself, and you will control the All” (List, 54).

Interpretation: Absolute trust (Ehwaz) leads to die Alle Mutter

6th Day of Yule – Remembering the Noble Virtue of Fidelity
As a basic ethical principle, fidelity is the quality of being faithful or loyal.  Fidelity is a characteristic that is worthy of emulation.  We must remain loyal to who and what we are. Those around us need to have the ability to take us at our word, and our word needs to be our bond. A handshake is all that should be required to seal the deal in any verbal, written or implied contractual obligation between individuals. The devotion to our deeds must be of the utmost importance (Vaygar Ingvald Elmersson).

Do I love my WONDERFUL niece and her family…OH YES I DO!  It was an EXCELLENT time with family, food and exchange of gifts;
Me to them:
Family gift basket from the Nifty Nut House
Banana bread (damn, forgot to bring in my Jell-O salad with fruit)
Elder great-nephew: MaxxMMA Double End Striking Punching Bag Kit
Younger great-nephew: Playmobil City Zoo Kit, large and a Dr. Seuss book, “If I ran the Zoo”
Two sacks goodies containing peanuts, hard candy, apple, tangerine, candy-filled cane
Them to me:
Salt crystal candle holder (amazing)
“Mythos; the Complete Series” by Joseph Campbell (amazing)
Goi Rode Goi by Arkona (amazing Russian heavy metal)
Copper Chef 5-piece set (TOTALLY amazing)
EXCHANGE OF LOVE ALL AROUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m telling ya, if it wasn’t for them involving me in their holiday observances, I would have no place to go.  I fully do believe we love each other.  I truly thank the gods and ancestors for them!  I hope I’ve expressed my love sufficiently.  I seriously hope they understand my gratitude.

God/dess Meditation: Sunna, goddess of the Sun:
Greetings to you Sunna, in all your feminine, fertile glory; Lamp of Wotan, newly risen! Hail to you who is the counterpart to Mano, male aspect of the Moon.  You have shown on all our ancestors, you shine on us, and you will yet shine on our decedents yet unborn. Share with us some of your light, your energy, your power, so that we might better fight our battles and attain our goals. WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL SUNNA, as we honor the Sunna that resides in us all!
