I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me.  I’m grateful for the strong German heritage you've provided. I offer you my undying love, honor, respect, and gratitude.
*offered up some tobacco for Granny Aggie.
*no doubt the ones who brought the family over from Europe.

Elder Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Elder Runes in your way
Advise the mortal man today

Elder Rune: Ansuz: In favor of the gods, Wotan specifically, Wotanic wisdom, the Athem - Divine/vital breath, the force of creation, taking inventory of one’s Tru Spirit and spiritual balance, a higher source of inspiration, communication skills and divine ancestry, higher consciousness, mental stability, self-discipline, the loving/bright/compassionate Alle-Vater, spiritual balance.
Conversely:
Outside the favor of Alle-Vater Wotan vital/divine breath and the ancestral/Wotanic wisdom, separation from one’s true Spirit, spiritual imbalance, spiritual shunning, neurotic compulsive liar, exercise caution with communication and dealings including intelligence; a lack of inspiration, tough-love Fathering, the absent All-Father, the shadow/dark/mysterious side of Alle-Vater Wotan.

Armanen Rune Summons:

Life is lived at such a price
Armanen Runes in your way
Advise the Spirit man today

 Armanen Rune: Eh:
Havamal 161.
A seventeenth I know, through a wise law

To join two lives in love;
And everyone is willing, no virginal woman
Will leave me lightly after this.

Warns against frivolous, transient love affairs, the legal bond between man and woman, lasting love, two bound together by the primal law of life, unification, sanctity of marriage, the cross of wedlock, fulfillment, maintaining strict morals within the bonds of marriage, love, duality, bound by primal law, love, trust and marriage. Soul-mates, wedding, partnership, permanent bond, binding decision, hope, duration, horse, permanence and marriage as a law, unity of ego and you, sister souls, soul-love, God-Man-Woman, ideal love, twin souls, two made one, success, increase.
“Marriage is the raw-root of the Aryans” (List, 63).
<>
Interpretation: Self-inventory (Ansuz) leads to marriage (Eh).
*if only…

5th Day of Yule – Remembering the Noble Virtue of Honor
Honor is the ability to hold your head high in all situations. It’s the adherence to what is right or to a conventional standard of conduct
. To live an honorable life is the most valuable of goals.  We set standards for ourselves and live according to those standards. We are not encouraged to set low standards, rather, set high standards and work toward them continually, even behind closed doors (Vaygar Ingvald Elmersson).

Outcome: I’m so glad I’ve allowed Toby on the bed at night.  When I wake up with Essie on one side and Toby on the other, it’s just pretty damned nice.

My health by the numbers:
Glucose: 112
Weight: 249
BP: 126/72
Pulse: 76
Well hel, I’m yet not ready to give up the protein shakes.  I just know I’m not getting the results I’d hoped.  I’ll make my decision after January 1st.
<>
1st breakfast; ½ bowl of whole grain wheat cereal
<>
Toby and I out for a very enjoyable 30min romp on the campus of Newman U.
<>
2nd breakfast; 2 eggs sunny-side-up, leftover potatoes from Hammerstorm Yule, to soy-meat patties.
<>
Started some Jell-O-n-fruit salad for tomorrow.
<>
Separated recyclables.  I FINALLY got caught-up on aluminum can smashing.

Last second outing:
*Town West Mall; to catch a vendor selling Coast Guard emblems before he got away.  Of course, and unexpectedly, he didn’t have what I saw previously.  Nonetheless I bought another Coast Guard emblem.  He, in turn, GAVE me three tannen-baum (fir-tree) ornaments.  Oneheluva salesman, eh?
*Hobby Lobby http://www.hobbylobby.com/ iso taper candles.  I really hate going to this store for anything due to its christian nature.
*Michaels http://www.michaels.com/ further iso taper candles.  I really hate going here to due to the inconvenient location.
**will just have to wait until next year.

My Sisser called.  I don’t remember how or why, but we started talking about our cousin in California.  She called back saying, “You’ll never guess who called.”  IT WAS MY COUSIN FROM CALIFORNIA!  His ears must’ve been burning, or something.  She gave me his number and I called him on my cell-phone.  It was SO GOOD to talk to him after so long of not talking to him.
<>
Nope, brother didn’t forget.  One gift down, two to go.
<>
OH MAN!  Drizzly, fog…beautiful!  If it was any closer to freezing, there would be some really stupid people out on the road.

OMGs…11PM/23:00 and the christians have taken-over my television…smh.

God/dess Meditation: Frouwa & Ing-Frô:
Frouwa, most lovely of all goddesses; who could not love you?  Women as their own inner glory and highest attainment as the self-made woman, men for your beauty, passion and strength. Praise to you for the gift of life, and for the love that makes life worth living. Remind us always that it is the strong who love the best and the most, and that only the mighty can truly be gentle. Fill our lives with passion and lust that we may live our lives to the fullest. WE GIVE YOU MOST A HEART-FELT HEIL, FROUWA, as we honor the Frouwa that resides in us all!
<>
Ing-Frô, you’re the Great God of Fridu (all-encompassing safety and protection), Ar (peace, good seasons), the good harvest and prosperity: you are indeed the god of this World. When the day to day wears us down remind us of pleasures and joys. Help us recall the wonderful excesses that brought our lives into being and which sustain the human spirit during good times and bad. Without you, there would be no life and certainly little delight. Thank you, Ing-Frô, for the rushing life spirit and the eternal play of passions that make our lives fruitful.  WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, ING-FRÔ, as we honor the Ing-Frô that resides in all of us!
