On a whim, I stopped into Auto Smart for an oil change and asked them to check out my coolant strength and front brakes. Well hel, other problems surfaced to the tune of $1,300 in necessary repairs. I trust them so I know this isn't BS. I may not make much money, but I am CERTAINLY glad I manage my money well enough that I don't have to go to my credit card for this.

My neighbors are so cool. They saw my car wasn't in the driveway and my front door was wide open. They stopped by to make sure things were okay. Gotta love 'em!

HOLY SHIT! I ALMOST FORGOT! Quick trip to a craft store...barely made it; that is, before Wichita locks-up tight for the night...Jeez...the rest will now have to wait until first thing Saturday morning.

Awww...Socks remembers the “bedtime potty walk”. I started that with Meeka and Socks just kind of joined in on his own. As I live on a cul-de-sac, it consisted of a walk to the end of the block so Meeka could potty before bedtime. After I put Meeka down, the “bedtime potty walk” became scarce. Tonight, I again tried it, knowing full well Toby would cooperate, and realize Socks DOES remember it. Toby and I walked to the end of the block, around the end, back to home, Socks was sure to follow.
