Plans: work 10 hrs.
Courage is definitely an attitude of boldness, however, not the absence of fear. Courage is the carrying in spite of your fear. It is courage that allows us to live life in such a manner that we can be proud (Vaygar Ingvald Elmersson).

Elder Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Elder Runes in your way
Advise the mortal man today

Armanen Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Armanen Runes in your way
Advise the Spirit man today
A fourteenth know Volkrast, the dwarf,
Sings early at the gates of dawn,
To strengthen the Aesir, to empower the Alves,
But to myself, Allfather, to gain wisdom.

“Be a man” (List, 61).
Interpretation: Disharmony (Ehwaz) leading to empowerment (Man).
Outcome: 32F/0C...Toby will be inside.
Good AM work; started in hard metals, finished in burr-shop.
Good @ home for lunch; no sign of Stubby or Long-tail, Toby was glad to be outside, Essie lead the way to her treat-perch, Socks didn't get the chance to decide as I kept him inside his house.
Good PM work; In an effort to regain control (Ehwaz) and have great gain with MUCH to do prior to the Christian holiday with family, (Man), I've decided to take tomorrow off as I have 20 hours worked + (according to HR) 20 hrs holiday pay (she'd better be right).
Returned the call of Wichita Forestry to confirm my interest in two oak trees planted on my easement and no overhead lines present.
Call into optometrist to get a second pair of side shields for my prescription safety glasses. I want the second pair available around the house for winter.
Call into my flex-plan account to make sure it's zero because it HAS to be spent by the end of the year; zero it is! Perfekt!
Two ¼ lb. Veggie burgers with jalapenos and cheese, with a garden salad...FREAKING YUM!
I would like to finish at least ONE of my Maters degrees; who knows, maybe both once I retire. I started looking into Divinity programs from Unitarian Universalist schools:
*Star King School of Ministry https://www.sksm.edu/
*MeadVille Lombard Divinity School http://www.meadville.edu/
I think the UUs would be more compatible with my current belief system, as I think Phillips Theological Seminary http://ptstulsa.edu/Home has become less welcoming of any faith other than Christian. Hel, when I went to Phillips , I was an open Heathen, there was an open Wiccan, and several lesbians attending.
I just may visit the UUs this Sunday https://firstuu.net/ While I will never deny my Mennonite heritage or invalidate my current associate/non-voting membership with the family's church I attended as a child http://lorraineavenue.ks.us.mennonite.net/ , I'm just not a christian. Sure, I want the Divinity school education, I don't want the Christian attachment.
Sometimes I gotta do things as I think about them. I got a Powerball lottery ticket with a (Christmas) card from my production supervisor; not a winner.
*found a REALLY cool crystal nutcracker set with built-in LED lights.
To Walgreens to look for other nutcrackers; found a GIANT one at a good price.
What the hel happened to the 9PM news? Oh yeah, that evil green chair.
My niece's post on Fb got me thinking astrologically, which I haven't done for a very long time.
My Sun sign: Cancer
“Sun sign astrology...is a simplified system of astrology which considers only the position of the Sun at birth, which is said to be placed within one of the twelve zodiac signs.”
*The Sun in the sign of Cancer makes people emotional and very well aware of the difference between their inner and outer worlds.
The inner world refers to the life of this person's soul as well the life of their closest family, and is typically very rich and satisfying, but the Sun-in-Cancer individual is always aware of the necessity to protect their inner world from the outer world.
These kinds of people can be very reserved and protective when they feel they are being threatened, but they are fully devoted to those they trust.
My Moon sign: Virgo
“Moon Sign-the Sign of the Zodiac where the Moon was at the moment of his or her birth.”
*Practical, attentive to details, capable of keeping things in order, finding and rectifying problems. Likes pets, enjoys to collect and systematize just anything, hates chaos (although at times creates it).
The Moon in Virgo individual knows intuitively that the world is complicated and multi-faceted, and many things need to be done to keep afloat in it. If he or she is an energetic person, they can easily become workaholics as they will fuss endlessly about every detail, unable to relax and calm down until a whole pile of different chores have been sorted out. The inability of these people to relax can often lead to nervousness and disturbances of the digestive system. They can become over-critical and sometimes this makes them highly-strung and rather unbearable to those around them.
On the other hand, sometimes if the Moon in Virgo belongs to a passive person, he or she might end up doing nothing at all. They know very well how many things ought to be done, but because they know they will be unable to do everything, they just stay idle.
My rising sign: Taurus:
Your Ascendant: 18°37' Taurus
“This is the face you wear in public, how others see you, and your Astrological Mask. “
*Tranquility, joy of life and sensuality are essential to you: you are a simple and quiet nature. You find happiness easily because you are not competitive, your relaxed attitude and your common sense invariably lead you towards fulfillment, even though you are not the number one, even though you do not move in haste. Constructing is important to you. Your patience and your persistence yield strong, steadfast, sustainable efforts that can withstand any pitfalls. You are gentle, with a slow thinking process, but once you have opted for an orientation, nothing, nor anyone, can make you change your mind. You loathe changes in general and once you have taken the few major unavoidable decisions in the course of your life, you are on track.
With this Ascendant, you come across as loyal, steadfast, strong, patient, enduring, persistent, attached, sensual, realistic, constructive, tenacious, with a strong need for security. But you may also be stubborn, rigid, possessive, materialistic, static, slow, and you may bear grudges.
Somewhere I read that my Sun sign is what I am in this life. My Moon sign is what I was in a former life. My rising sign is what I'll be in my next life. Who knows? It's interesting enough, but it doesn't mean much to me, personally as I do much better with Runes.
Now what the hel happened to the 9PM news? Oh...yeah...that damned green chair. It honestly IS a love/hate relationship with that thing.
