2nd Day of Yule – The Winter Solstice
The Winter Solstice represents the shortest day and the longest night. Winter begins for us in this modern era.  We give HAIL to the turning of the wheel!  Today, the sun has reached her furthest point south.  From this day onward Sunna, the feminine aspect of the Sun, gains strength, returns coming northward, and eventually breaks winter's spell. Celebrate Sunna's return and the fertility she brings (Vaygar Ingvald Elmersson).

I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me.  I’m grateful for the strong German heritage you’ve provided. I look forward with eager anticipation to the great family reunion on the other side.  I offer you my undying love, honor, respect, and gratitude.

The fourth one I know, when a foe has tied up

My arms and hands;
The fetters fall from my leg, when I chant that song,
And off my hands the ropes come.

Ridiculously boring 8hr shift.  Table shaper was still down.  For the 1st two hours there was absolutely nothing to do.  Finally found something where I could work completely though:
Layout
Drill
Rough trim
Pin-shape
Trim tabs
Nothing to do for the last hour.

OMGs!  The guys in hand-forming surprised me with a BIG-OLE-BAG-O-CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!  This Asian guy explained how he came across it but I could never relate it here.  The trick was get3ting that bag thru the turnstile after work.  The same Asian guy got the bag thru for me.  Everyone is amazed how happy I get about aluminum cans, and I was absolutely ECSTATIC over this!

God/dess Meditation: Die (pronounced “Dee”) Wurtâ:
Die Wurtâ, all three, are present at birth
To weave our Fate from merriment to dearth.
Urda, Werdanda and Sculd, the dark queens renowned;
Glorious ladies ‘neath the Tree, work your mysteries in us now.

That which “was” we can clearly see.
That which “is becoming” forms now in our deeds.
That which “is owed”, may be, but we cannot see.
We celebrate die Wurtâ, the Ladies Three, for all eternity.
