*Walk Toby by 11:30am, which lets me know I’m on schedule.
*Exercise
*Lunch; I GENERALLY neither microwave nor open a can, but whatever I DO make, I make extra to take to work with me.
*Get ready for work @ 2:15pm/personal hygiene/change/pack dinner bucket
*Leave for work @ 3pm
BUT
Waking up any later than 9am screws up everything.

O…M…Gs! Sometimes my 1st shift colleague and I get to laughing so uproariously one could easily ascertain we were insane. For some time, we have laughed about the term, “That’s a blessing” that started with an MLS player who has the last name, Blessing. We have repeatedly said, “Now dat’s a blessing” to each other for one reason or another. Today, he was joking about how I have a 1st shift black colleague, 2nd shift has a black manager, and a black lead. He said, “You’re surrounded!” Then I recalled that I also am getting ready to take on a black insurance agent, who told me today that his daughter was in the Friends U. production of “The Nutcracker.” He further said, “That’s a blessing.” THE UPROARIOUS LAUGHTER ENSUED!
An email from the company, verified via a crew meeting, the company is asking us to stay away longer than the allotted December break due to “the delay in the return to service of the 737 MAX, Spirit will soon begin to accumulate more aircraft in onsite storage than was originally planned or anticipated.” Along with the regular Dec break, they want us to take off Dec 23rd, Jan 2nd and 3rd on our dime. DEAL! The company is also offering “…an advance against their future vacation/ETO balance.” WOW! Short of a layoff, they REALLY want us to stay away. That’s not a horrible idea.
*14hrs+ turned in for an 8hr shift thanks to three hand-forming orders that gave 665 min for doing nothing, or next to nothing. I’ll take that action all night long! 2hrs.+ saved for tomorrow.
