Outcome: 8hrs of sleep with only one wake up.

Toby and I out for a well behaved, late/mid-morning, 30min walk.

Straightened up the house and vacuumed.

More times than not, when I’m in the car I listen to NPR on the radio. Today, I heard a border agent, who at least sounded Hispanic say of Trump’s border wall https://www.cnbc.com/2018/12/11/trump-meets-with-pelosi-and-schumer-on-border-wall-and-government-shutdown.html make an interesting observation saying it was a “14th century solution to a 21st century problem”.

Interesting night at work.
*early in the shift we were told to go get fitted for steel-toed shoes. I went, but I told them I was under a doctor’s care for my feet. A note will be forthcoming.
*problems on the bag press. The tray B roll in worked fine. It was the roll out that was causing problems with the roller stopping, but the roller feed kept going. Called into maintenance.
*two SPL orders on the bag press that were hotter-than-the-hubs-of-hades. Luckily, I could get the bag press to cooperate in spite of the problems to get them done.
*maintenance finally showed up close to the end of shift to fix the offending roller.

God/dess Meditation: (alternate Dienstag) Ostara, trustworthy goddess; wife to Brego (who is the adherent god of scalds), keeper of the golden apples of youth and eternal life, keep us young inside. When we are starving for laughter, hungry for the lightness that comes with having few years on our shoulders, slip us one of those gleaming fruits that we may see the world through youthful eyes.
