Toby and I out for another misbehaving walk. I give him three strikes for each verbal command. The first verbal command is strike one. The second verbal command is a stern strike two. Failure to respond to strike two is strike three and on the retractable. I usually put him on the retractable to get his attention then let him off a bit later. I’m not doing that any more. If Toby strikes out, he’s on the retractable on the duration to home.
*sunny, mild (too damn mild for almost mid-December), slight north breeze.
