I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me.  I’m grateful for the strong German heritage you’ve provided. I look forward with eager anticipation to the great family reunion on the other side.  I offer you my undying love, honor, respect, and gratitude.

Elder Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Elder Runes in your way
Advise the mortal man today

Elder Rune: Ansuz: In favor of the gods, Wodan specifically, Wodanic wisdom, the Athem - Divine/vital breath, the force of creation, taking inventory of one’s Tru Spirit and spiritual balance, a higher source of inspiration, communication skills and divine ancestry, higher consciousness, mental stability, self-discipline, the loving/bright/compassionate Alle-Vater, spiritual balance.
Conversely:
Outside the favor of Alle-Vater Wodan vital/divine breath and the ancestral/Wodanic wisdom, separation from one’s true Spirit, spiritual imbalance, spiritual shunning, neurotic compulsive liar, exercise caution with communication and dealings including intelligence; a lack of inspiration, tough-love Fathering, the absent All-Father, the shadow/dark/mysterious side of Alle-Vater Wodan.

To strengthen the Aesir, to empower the Alves,
But to myself, All-Father, to gain wisdom.

Outcome: Rough seven hours of sleep.  I’ve been doing computer maintenance while sleeping.  The two times I woke up, I went to a different maintenance thingy.  Once, when I woke up, I heard the sound to metal grating hitting a metal frame.  Not only did I hear it, Toby heard it too, and he was in protector mode.  Going to the front door to let him check it out, THERE was Socks, ready to go into his house.  Yup, it was a busy night.

Brief good morning chat with my love my fiancée.

Large breakfast sandwich on wheat toast.

Toby and I out for a well behaved (and he’s lucky he responded quickly to a voice command when he wandered into the street), late morning, 30min walk.
*partly cloudy, mild, south breeze.

Good 8hrs of work; barely enough to keep me on the table shaper.

Ya know, I’m going to have to stop going in search of aluminum cans at work.  Twice, now, I’ve been told of someone recently getting fired for doing it.  My guesstimation is that he used company time to do it, and probably took too much time.  I, on the other hand, have always searched at the end of shift after clean-up and everything is done; nonetheless, I don’t want to take any chances.  I am NOT going to place my well-paying job in jeopardy over the pittance reaped by cans.  Now, if they come to ME, that’s a different story, but, as much as it pains me, I can’t go ISO cans at work anymore.  I have to imagine the Universe is sending out a definite warning, and I’d be a fool not to heed it.
