Ziu, husband to Zisa, Great God of bravery, one-handed god, you chained the Fenris Wolf that threatened the worlds. We can’t do that, but we can do other things, some
ordinary, others heroic. Remind us of your bravery and your sacrifice. Give us
the courage and strength we need to fetter our own Fenris. Keep us mindful of

Stopped by my neighborhood polling place to make sure that I, as a one-time Libertarian, had nothing to do this primary. I was right.

I’ve had a watermelon in the fridge for about a week. Checking it, I discover a soft spot. Anticipating rot, I cut into the soft spot, mid-melon. Hel, it wasn’t rotten at all. With no added room in the fridge to accommodate cut up melon, I had to finish about HALF of a watermelon so I could put the rest back into the fridge. Jeez!
Brief family front yard time, while I fight a losing battle with the bushes
around the Wîhstat and gardening. I am SO frustrated with both (Eihwaz, Is)
I cannot and will not abandon the political party I have supported my entire
voting life. A poor lapse in judgment and a certain amount of frustration drove
me to a minor party. That will not happen again; neither will any support of
the ...Republican party at any time. Say what you will, but
the Democratic party represents everything I support.
The Democratic Party, home of great presidents like:

Franklin D. Roosevelt
Lyndon Johnson
John Kennedy
I stand in their shadow.
