*all I could think about was going home. I talked to my lead and he talked to my Super. I told him I was just ready to start the final chapter of my work-life. He understood and let me go @ 10:15.

GOOD-BYE, PCC! At least you were tolerable while at Weaver, but it all started falling apart with Warren Buffett and the Berkshire Hathaway Group acquiring PCC. With this acquisition, I, as well as others had such high hopes for the better. Such was not to be the case. Subsequently, a most EXCELLENT general supervisor was canned and it all started going to hell-in-a-handbasket. Low levels of available work-orders led to further lay-offs in Weaver North/South and Exacta. My brief employment with Brittain, the 4th leg of PCC Wichita, was one of my most horrible experiences. I am SO GLAD it’s over.
