I think it was last weekend that I hesitantly bought a new pair of shoes. I have two pair of New Balance shoes that have separated soles. I went to an old pair of boots, but they were short-lived with some serious cracks in them. My shoe search took me to several outlets, only to go back to Payless. It has turned out to be a pretty good purchase. They’re pretty damned comfortable. They are a cross between an athletic shoe and a hiking shoe. I really do like them.
