Okay, here’s the scoop:

1. Frustrating @ urology.  The wait time for anything is always more than anything I’ve experienced at the VA.  It took them SO LONG just to tell me a doctor needed to sign-off on the prescription since Dr. Bird wasn’t there.  THEN, after an even longer wait, they tell me they’re having a problem printing the prescription.  My choice was to wait for their I.T. guy to show up who-knows-when, OR, I can go to the east location, WAY THE FUCK ON THE OTHER SIDE OF TOWN, to pick it up immediately.  I chose the latter. 
2. After a 40min drive, yes, my printed prescription was ready.  Now, to hand carry it to the VA.
3. At the VA, which was a shorter wait, but long enough to grab a flatbread pizza and a soda for their canteen, I was told the VA probably wouldn’t fill the prescription immediately, as my prescription was a compounding prescription.  The VA had an intermediary step prior to going to the compounding prescription, which would be outsourced, to which I had no choice but to agree.
