Got a phone call from a very good old friend about a mutual friend who has died.  Supposedly her death was only a little more than 24hrs ago.  No details as of yet.  All of us have supported Tiller’s clinic during the anti-choice stupidity that one summer.  We have all had a friendship with her in some form or another.

I have lost a mentor, a fellow activist and a good friend. ……….. means so much to so many people. She was an incredible activist who relentlessly fought for equal rights and social justice. (She) loved her family deeply and wanted a better world for her grandchildren. Our community will miss you desperately

….. and I had a mutual fondness and respect for one another. When I was doing the hard work of abortion rights activism and lobbying, she was always one of my biggest cheerleaders and supporters. I have many memories of protesting together (as do 100% of other Wichita feminists because …..ALWAYS showed up). I have another fond memory of her and I sharing our views on abortion with a group of local middle schoolers who were filming a documentary on the topic for a class project. She shared decades of activism with them and my... how lucky we all were to bear witness to her stories, the rich her-story she was a part creating in Wichita.
She is probably the only woman in Wichita who could rival me for giving a variety of KDP candidates holy hell in a handbag for holding anti-choice views. She was unequivocal in her support for abortion as legitimate and necessary healthcare. She was a fervent supporter of her Wichita feminist sisters in words and in deeds. And she managed to do all of this with a smile and with kindness. She (like …………………. lost before her) was a mentor to me in this movement. I will miss her and always....always...honor and cherish the memories of her unwavering feminism and laughter. Rest in power, my sister.

4. about coming in @ 1:30 upon returning, his suggestion, so as to get some ENGLISH training on the shears to which I agreed.

Call into Air Cap Vet.  I learned something today.  Insulin without eating can cause hypoglycemia.  If Toby is not eating yet tonight, I should forgo his insulin.  Hopefully he will feel like eating tomorrow.  If not, he needs to be seen by the doctor.

His exam wasn’t horrible but not as good as I had hoped.  K-State didn’t mention his left eye pressure, so it was no doubt within the acceptable range (10-20).  Toby’s right eye, however, the pressure was at 24.  They attributed it to me running out of his prednisone acetate the night prior, and forgetting ANY eyedrops this morning.  They immediately administered some.  They said this only demonstrates Toby’s dependency on the eyedrops in relation to his glaucoma.  Toby’s is mostly released from a doctor’s care, but they want Toby’s eye pressure to be read locally with the results reported to K-State.  They will probably want to see him again in six months or so.

Rune Lesson:  In essence, the same Rune but different systems.  Both deal with Wodan and Wodanic characteristics.  HEIL THE ALL-FATHER
Wodan shows us that there is a price to pay for wisdom.  Wisdom is not to be take lightly and used effectively.  Used effectively wisdom frees us in many ways.  We speak our minds so that can free ourselves, and perhaps others.  Wisdom can have a ripple effect outwards.
