@ work I was greeted with parts I ran yesterday.  No other Super around, I took them to the 1st shift Super who showed me the same drawing provided by inspection, indicating my suspected faux pas.  A bit more investigation remined me a drawing wasn’t part of my specific process; rather, an SHF was.  I had no question.  There was no need for me to even consider a drawing.  I made the parts according to the SHF as per my instructions.  I LOVE communicating my points to two levels of management and winning.  Evidently my points were successfully because the scrap was billed to tooling, not me.

*My first shift colleague has decided he needs more 10hr days, even with the workload as low as it is.  My first shift colleague gets in the way when he stays over rather than come in early.  I tried to reason with my first shift colleague, but he refused to consider my option for him to come in early.  I took the matter to my lead.  I told him we are no longer a small shop on 2nd and need all our specific places.  He agreed and said he would take the matter up with our Super.
