• Only ONE order of parts in the incoming rack, and minimal anything in layout/trim/drill.
• Scrap metal bin was full.  Now WHY couldn’t 1st shift tend to it?  I called it in.
• The connector on the air-hose reel for the table shaper “mysteriously” was busted.  WHY couldn’t 1st shift tend to it?  I called it in.
• The cutter on the shaper table was gummed-up.  WHY couldn’t 1st shift tend to it?  I had to change it.

FINALLY, two more orders of parts showed up, but there had to be some SERIOUS translating with the help of the stretch-press lead-man, trying to figure out what the planners were trying to communicate…success, I hope.

I’m finally back to where I was before the accident.

I just couldn’t let go of yesterday’s discussion of the parts in the email.  When I’m right, I’m right.  I DO NOT understand how they can compare a -37 to a -38 without knowing the dimensions.  They are PROBABLY opposites, but there is no way to know for sure, The -37s were back in the shop and I looked at the SHF.  There is NOTHING to tell me to cut the one leg down to 1inch, unlike what the email was claiming.  According to the SHF, only ONE LEG is trimmed.  The other evidently remains @ 1.53inch.  There’s nothing that could be done now.  What’s done is done.
*Evidently our regular Super wasn’t there today.  The Super from Warehouse three stopped by my shaper table, asking me if I was going to be running it tonight, to which I answered in the affirmative. He said to keep it running because no one was on it for 1st shift; which wasn’t necessarily true.  At the end of my shift, I make every effort to clear it of any set-up.  When I got there, it HAD a set-up on it, it just wasn’t a typical set-up of my 1st shift colleague. 
*It seems I have become the G32 hall monitor.  G32 is our post location within plant 2.  When someone from transportation tries to drop off anything in my area, I check it out, because often times it has to go to hand-forming.  Yes, your direction says G32, but hand-forming has moved to H29 YEARS AGO!  Hand-forming was in that area at one time, but no longer.  Most transportation drivers are accepting mf my re-direction.  However, there is this one old man who must’ve gotten pissed when I tried to redirect what he was trying to drop-off.  Now, if there’s something to be delivered from him, he just drops it off at the desk up front.  I’m good with that, just as long as it stays out of my area when it doesn’t belong there.
