Rune Lesson:  Ice within the world of nature CAN be destructive.  It slows things down.  Just picture the slow movement of a glacier.  The certainly move, but are in no hurry.  Ice affords the luxury of introspection of the Self that can lead to an awakening.  As we calm ourselves, we see within ourselves that which we may not have seen previously.  We are awakened to inner mysteries that may have been hidden from us.  We become aware of what secrets need to be kept and what secrets need to be told.  With introspection we are awakened.

OH MAN!  Recently, I THOUGHT I saw a raccoon go across the porch.  I couldn’t really tell if it was a racoon are some other, or a new stray kitty that might be hanging around.  Tonight, OH YEAH, this time I got a good look at it.  IT REALLY WAS a raccoon.  Now I know why the stray catfood is totally cleaned out every morning.  I’ve had a friend tell me that raccoons were vicious, but I have never seen a vicious raccoon.  I would never elect to corner one, just like I would never corner any wild animal.  They have always seemed so enigmatic if anything.

To Lowe’s for a sprinkler replacement for the front evergreens.  So. my choice was to spend $20 for a replacement end that I wasn’t sure would work, OR, spend $25 on a complete system.  I opted for the latter, which turned out to be a good thing.  The entire front system was in need of replacement.  When I put it in the first time, the pressure was really low on the far end.  When all else fails, read the directions.  Turns out the newer model had an improvement.  The center sprinkler has one entrance and two exits…oooOOOOOoooo… So, I reset everything to accommodate, and WAH-LAH!  It took a bit of doing but it’s in.  The drip irrigation to the south shrubbery was in need of replacement, too.  For some reason, and as luck would have it, I had an extra drip irrigation hose in the fancy shed.  It, too, took a bit of work but it’s in.  Wet, dirty, and sore hands, AH the reward of a job well done.
