*Long-tail alerted me to a problem on the porch.  At first I thought he finished his and was wanting more, which would be unusual for him.  His usual MO is to accept what’s given, be grateful, then run off.  Instead, he was at the window telling me something was amiss.  That damn cat from across the street was eating his breakfast.  I went outside to SHOO him away, and he hissed at me.  I got in his face and his right back at him.  He jumped off over the side.  When I went to make sure he was gone, he was waiting on the dark side of the porch.  I again shooed him away.  Stubby and Long-tail have my devoted protection.
