I was greeted @ work by my bread-n-butter parts and bread-n-butter parts #2.  Between those two plus another job completed, I turned-in almost 17 ½ hours of work for an 8hr shift. 
*a work colleague who totally disrespected my Sister’s death actually apologized.  I offered my hand in gratitude.  As far as I’m concerned, our standoff is over.  Now if only my former-and-most-evil-christian-brother could learn this lesson.
*work just does not give up on asking for Sat AND Sun overtime.  Oh no, it can’t be just Sat, but has to be both.  I would consider one weekend day of overtime, but never both unless it’s made mandatory.  Even then, I would probably call-in.

Now this is going to be different.  I haven’t worked a full week since the beginning of the month.  July 4th (Wed) was off.  Then I took Thurs and Fri off anticipating my wife moving in, which didn’t happen until Sat.  On Fri though, my regular eye appointment demanded a quick laser treatment.  I then had to take the following Mon off (9th) for the treatment with Tues and Wed off (10th and 11th) to heal.  Sister passed away Mon (16th) so I had bereavement leave Wed-Fri (18th-20th).  I think I’m ready for a full week of work.
*…BUT, anniversary date @ work is Aug 12th (full vacation time restored and sick-leave starts to re-build).  Labor Day Weekend is the first weekend in Sept (1-3).  I’m good.
