Stubby-tail Siamese kitty is limping and has been for at least a couple of days.  Also, He/she looks hungry.  I can’t immediately do anything about the limp, but I sure can feed it.  Lemme tell ya, he/she was hungry.  She/he pretty much polished off ¾ of a small can of cat food.  I’m going to feed it when I can.

*the dumb people part came in the form of a dumb-ass mowing across the street.  In trying to talk with him, well, it was a challenge.  He’s mowing a jungle and cannot seem to have the smarts to raise the blade.  So, I had to derive a technique so he could get it done.  The first thing I had him do was to switch directions.  He was throwing all the grass inward; hence, clogging the mower.  Second, because he couldn’t seem to raise the blade, I showed him how to pick up the mower from behind, pull back the finish level.  It may take a while, bit it would be less frustrating than the way he was doing it.  

Damn, worked up a sweat now…

Family outside time; DAMN it’s still fucking hot!  When I got home from work, in spite of the heat, I let Socks out from his Cat House.  Now, concerned about the heat, I called him.  Poor Socks came home via a neighbor’s yard just panting his little-pea-pickin’ heart out.  He was ready to back into his house.  Agreed Socks.  I gathered up Toby and Essie to take them back inside for a/c.

Family outside time.  OMGs!  Essie decided to charge up a neighbor’s tree!  At forst it was cute, but then I couldn’t tell if she was proud of herself or scared to death.  Once I heard the “I’m not comfortable with this” growl, I knew I needed to help her down.  I went back inside to get a small step-ladder.  Once I coaxed her down far enough, she reached out for me and gladly went onto my shoulder.  Perhaps it will be a while before she again does that.  That was enough excitement for the morning.
