I’ve had some banner days out at work, but this had to be my banner day of all banner days.  It started off with my bread-n-butter parts (more than 8hrs with one order of parts) that led into my 2nd best bread-n-butter parts (better than four hours with one order of parts) that lead into good luck with time allotments all night: 1,295.08min = 21.58hrs = 2.7 days turned-in for a single 8hr shift.  Imagine that, I barely got an at-a-boy from my supervisor.

I show up to work with the table shaper down.  I warned them!  I warned 2nd shift maintenance that the motor was getting ready to drop.  The gear’s teeth on the back side of the motor were really worn.  Sure enough; that’s what happened.  It was back up and running shortly after 1st break, but by then, I was already into a project in layout.  I saw 16 parts all the way through; from layout, to rough saw, to drill to pin router.
