Toby and I out for a Hodge-podge walk.  Two blocks away we encounter SHADE!  OMGs!  I have been so worried about Shade for days!  I coaxed Shade to come home with me and she did.  I immediately fed her.  As Toby and I continued our walk he indicated he wanted to go into Meeka Park where he could run like the wind!  Continuing on, I kept an eye on Toby to see when the weather was becoming a bit too much for him as it was warming up a wee bit.

Toby was EXCEPTIONALLY well-behaved on our 1-mile walk.

Essie for outside time.  Long-tail-Siamese, neighbor’s cat, wanted to come over.  Essie challenged it.  She made sure to let it know, “THIS IS MY QUEENDOM!”  Of course, I was close-by incase things went south.  Even Toby wanted to come out from the back-yard to help, but I was content to let Essie handle it, under my watchful eye.  She did EXCEEDINGLY  well.  I was SO proud of the way she did handle it.  However, I would NOT want to see her be confronted by some Tom-cat outside of my watch.

Breakfast fit for a KING!  Whole-wheat waffles, turkey bacon, veggie sausage, potato coins, oven-baked eggs, orange juice, skim milk, syrup...FUCKING YUM!

My friend, you wandered into our shop very early on Friday, June 19th.  I got there at 6AM and it didn’t take long for my good friend in hard metals to tell me about you.  I took one look at you and immediately felt an attachment.  You were quick to let me know you were hungry.  I slipped out from work to get you a couple cans of dog food at the nearest convenience store.  You polished it off so quickly, I knew I had read you correctly.  At first break, I even took you outside to potty.   You came across as an excellent dog.  Everyone in that plant was just in awe of you.  By the end of shift, three people planned to take you home with them; myself included.  Plans were in the works for you to go to a nice 5-acre home.  However, I had to leave early for a dental appointment.

When I came back to work on Monday, I found out that you were given out to some shit-head/shit-heads who I believe falsely claimed you as theirs.  No proof was offered of their ownership, yet you were handed over to these fuckers.  From talking to the others, I found out you made no effort at excitement, as might be the case of a fur-kid who had been separated from their daddy for any length of time.  You made no indication you even knew these assholes.  I believe it was out of white fear of the race card made them hand you over. 

A bit of information was left on those who took you.  No one present believe you belonged to them.  Yet, the deed was done.  Believe me; we are trying to find you.  We are trying to help you.  The difficulty lies with a Kansas license plate and an out-of-state telephone number.  This information was handed over to Animal Control, but they have been slow to respond. 


I know hindsight is perfect 20/20, BUT WHY THE FUCK COULD THEY NOT HAVE WAITED UNTIL WE FOUND OUT IF YOU HAD A MICROCHIP?  That could have answered so many questions. 

Today, in my thought for you, I told you to be strong.  Do what you need to do to survive.  If you choose this life that has been forced on you to be too much, no one would blame you.  If your new life is too much, and you have a chance to run, run far, run fast (now the tears come).  If we never see each other again in this life, I hope to see you again at the Rainbow Bridge.

Here is the information we've had on the possible monster who stole you.

MAThe name he gave us was Tony Coleman, but it seems that may have been bogus.  We don't know that for sure, yet.  With this being the only lead, I may have to go with the comments of one of the boys with him, "He's a sergeant".   So, I need to check the Air Base here in Wichita.  I can get an online program that will aid me in the search.

Time has dragged on.  I have purchased a search program called SPOKEO.  It's been totally useless.  If I EVER come across anything, I KNOW I can ask for a welfare check no matter where you are.  This bastard has had sufficient time to take care of you.  I can ask they check for vaccination or veterinarian records.  It's not over yet, Buddy.

This evening had to be the most hilarious outside time EVER!  My south neighbor doesn’t keep her yard well mowed at all; as a matter of fact, the weeds are easily up Essie and Socks’ bellies.  However, it DOES make a fun playground for them.  It was fun to watch them play crouch, hide, attack, counter-attack, and run like crazy!  Socks would chase Essie.  Essie would chase Socks.  When nothing else was going-on, Essie chased bugs.  Essie was actually panting from the fun.  I just may let my yard grow a bit.

It seems the new A/C held its own in the Cat House with temps in the upper 90s.  I have to presume it will hold its own in higher temps, too. 

At work, I found out the dog from last Friday was handed over with no questions asked.  WHY THE FUCK NOT!  WHY WERE THESE PEOPLE NOT ASKED TO VERIFY THEIR OWNERSHIP?  Now I feel like shit for the dog.  The dog was absolutely amazing, handed over to someone who no doubt had no claim to ownership.  Further comments for posterity, not general consumption*.  
Another person claim ownership of the dog has surfaced.  I hope someone reports or researches the tag number of the 1st claimant.  Someone is fucking lying  here.
