Call into Toby’s original caretakers to let them know Toby continues to be well cared-for.  This elderly couple took care of Toby after his original guardian came down with Alzheimer’s and couldn’t care for him anymore.  It was that fateful meeting at my veterinary that led them to give guardianship over to me five years ago.   They checked me out.  They checked out where he was going to live.  They were very thorough.  They had no problem handing him over to me.  So, I in turn occasionally contact them to let them know all is well.
