I checked inside. I checked outside. No sign of him. I presumed the latter and gave the appropriate signal to myself that Socks was outside his house; that being, curtain closed (curtain open, then, is Socks inside. Hey, he needs to be able to see outside like any cat would want to do in a normal house). Coming home from work, I checked Socks' house only to find him inside and ready to come out as quickly as he could.
