Last week during shopping I made an impulse buy of some rather huger frosted sugar cookies.  Come to find out they’re a bit too much for me.  I gave them to a family across the street.

J’sW buddy over.  When the popsicle truck came by, his granddaughter was wanting a popsicle.  My J’sW buddy told her he had no money.  I offered to buy her one and he agreed.

I’ve decided this Friday to be a grave reconnaissance mission to Goessel, Lehigh and Medford Oklahoma.  With the ancestor info I have my hope is to find quite a few more ancestors to honor come Memorial Day.  Memorial day has become quite an event!

Toby and I out for a 1-mile walk.  Essie out for a repeat performance outside.

My Minnesota Vikings t-shirt came today.  Not that I give a rat’s-ass about American football, but as a kid I DO remember choosing the best NFL teams by the coolness of their helmets.  The Vikings helmet always won out for me.  It’s not even that I sit down to watch a Viking’s game if it’s on the tele.  The only time I WOULD watch a game would be if it was with the Giants or the Saints, if you catch my drift.

To Wesley Rehabilitation Hospital  for outpatient evaluation.  It look like I’m in twice a week over the next six weeks (no idea why the indent) for physical therapy for my neck and shoulder.  The VA continues to do many more things right.

While out one of the Siamese kitties tried to get brave.  Toby was so good!  I told him to wait…wait…until the Siamese kitty went down the street to a neighbor’s house on this side of the street.  When the Siamese kitty was to the point I knew it would be safe, I told Toby “GO” and he was off like a SHOT!  Toby was so good about coming back when called.  Siamese kitty safe, Toby satisfied, all is well!
